Bye Bye Blogger.

So, the semester is almost over so this will be my last post... "Awww" =( ha ha. Well, its been pretty cool. I'll miss it. But at the same time I won't because it got kind of stressful sometimes. I think it did help me see what I did to accomplish my mission statement. Writing about it seemed to make it more... real, if that makes any sense. That's probably the only reason I liked blogging. I didn't like it very much because I'm not really the time of person to write about my feelings and things like that publicly. It was an interesting experience.  So, yeah. Goodbye! =] ha ha.

My "Learning Style"

When I took the test to see what kind of learning style I have, he one that I got the highest score on was aural. Aural means that you like to work with sound and music. You have a good sense of pitch and rhythm, you typically can sing, play a musical instrument, or identify the sounds of different instruments. Certain music creates strong emotions. You notice the music playing in the background of movies, TV shows and other media. You often find yourself humming a song or singing a song in your head. I think this goes well with me because I hate working in silence. I can't work or concentrate wen it's quiet. I have to constantly be listening to music.

Well, lately I've been having some pretty tough days. At times I even felt like there was nothing more I could do to make things better. But there was. I prayed. So from that day on I started praying more and more everyday to see if things would go better for me. Since then, I've been feeling so much happier. Everyday I feel 10 times better than I did before. So, I'm really happy. God has really helped me and showed me He wants me to be happy. So I'm trying to enjoy every day of my life more and more. You should try it. =]

Volleyball once again! =]

Today, once again, I played volleyball at school for rec. It was fun. My team won. The only bad thing is I'm extremely tired! I'm glad the week is almost over though. But I'm way tired! I need to keep practicing at home or else I'm gonna be really bad. I haven't been doing that great lately. 

This goes with my mission statement because I'm still playing more sports and going every Monday and Wednesday to play volleyball. =]

I Am Thankful For

I am thankful for many things. There are so many that I can't even list all of them. But here are a few.

♥I'm thankful for my brother because he makes me laugh a lot, he's always there for me to talk to, and he's my best friend.

♥My mom because she's also there for me to talk to and she understands me. Also, I can learn from her mistakes.

♥My dad. He's always there to give me advice and comfort me when I need him. He's also really fun and I love to sit and listen to all kinds of music with him.

♥My dog because life would not be as fun without her. She's always really happy and very hyper.

♥All of my family. My aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents because they all play a different and very important role in my life.

♥I'm thankful for my friends. I would be very sad without friends. So, I'm thankful I have many girl friends and guy friends.

♥I'm thankful for life. Life is full of opportunities and dreams to follow. Even though

it gets hard sometimes, life is mostly a fun experience no matter how hard it may

be sometimes.

♥I'm thankful for chocolate. It may sound really corny but chocolate makes me

happy :) So, I am very thankful for that.

♥The beach. Sometimes we just need a place to relax and I think the beach does

that a lot for me.

♥And most importantly I'm thankful for God because he loves me and will love

me forever and because thanks to Him, I have all of these things to be thankful

for.

Volleyball!

So, I signed up for volleyball for rec. Its been fun so far. We play on Mondays and Wednesdays. I'm on team two. We've been doing pretty good, but not like AWESOME! We won I think the first game, but the second one we lost. Tonight I'm going again and hopefully it'll be good. I hope I'm not too tired though because I'm already REALLY tired! But the break is coming soon. Anyway, yeah volleyball has been really fun.

Renweb

I always check renweb at home. I probably should more often now that I know how effective it is for me. I try to use it as much as I can, but sometimes I don't have time. So, I just write homework on my planner and use renweb just to check my grade.

Free Rice =)

This week I went on a website called Free Rice. It tests your knowledge on different subjects and asks you questions. If you answer them right, you donate 20 grains of rice to third world countries. So I took those tests on different subject. My subjects were Spanish, French, and Italian. I did pretty good, especially on the Spanish one. I donated over 2,000 grains of rice on that one. This was a win-win situation for me because not only was I helping other people, but I learned things too.

Tests

Friday, November 7, we had a Bible test. I didn't get a good a grade, but I did study. I did worse than I thought I would do. But, yesterday we had a science test and I did better than I did on my Bible test. I got a B+. I hope I get a better grade on my Bible next time.

Academy Days

So, Sunday and Monday, we had academy days at HVA. It was kind of boring, but then again, it pretty much always is. Ha ha. Anyway, we had to go around the classes with the 7th and 8th graders or different elementary schools around the area and pretty much show them what each class was like. We had to do quizzes and things like that in each class and then the person that got the highest score would get a price later. It was interesting. I didn't get any prices=( Oh well. I did last year=) But yeah, this goes with my mission statement because I met new people and talked to kids that would be coming to our school next year. 

Making a Big Decision

Everyone has had to make a choice at least once in their lives. 

Some choices are easy to make.

Some are hard. 

I have a decision I have to make in just a few months. 

It's not an easy... At ALL. 

So I've been having a hard time trying to decide what I should do. 

It's private, but it's very important. 

I'm scared to make the wrong choice, that's where God comes in. 

I've been praying a lot because obviously I can't do this myself.

So, now I'm hoping He will help me to make the right choice

and lead me in the right direction.

He has so far=)

**This goes with my mission statement because this experience is helping me to get closer to God. It's helping me have a stronger relationship with Him. It is also helping me to trust Him more and turn to Him when I need help. =)

♥Entertainment

♥There's a lot of things that I like to do for entertainment. If I just feel like relaxing and not doing much, I like to sit and listen to music or watch a movie. But if I feel like actually doing something, I like to hang out with friends, or play sports. This fits with my mission statement because in order to have good grades, you also need some time to relax and clear your mind, and that's what music does for me. Also, if I play sports when I have free time, I'm getting more involved and getting better like my mission statement says. So, those are some of the many things I like to do for entertainment. =)

Speeches

I did a speech about music on Tuesday, October 13. It was a persuasive speech. I was so nervous! But I was glad to get it over with afterwards. We have a new speech that we have to do now. It's a How-To speech. I'm nervous for this too. I really hate talking in fron of people because I have stage fright. I'm not looking forward to this whole lesson on public speaking:( But I want to try to do good because I need to keep my grades up (its part of my mission statement).

Volleyball Game:)

♥Yesterday, Tuesday, we had another volleyball game. The people on my team are Krystle, Michelle, Agnes, Luda, Karen, and sometimes Mackenzi and Weezy. The other team wasn't very challenging, so the game wasn't that fun. I hit a spike. So, that was cool:) We won two sets to none. It was awesome.

This goes with my mission statement because it involves an athletic sport.

Future Husband♥

-Everyone wants to one day find the perfect "someone" to share their lives with. I'm one of those people. These are some qualities that I would want him to have:

A Bad Experience

A bad experience I had in my life was a friendship I had with someone. I began to really trust that person quickly and we became really, really close. But one day, that person let me down, and that's when I realized you can't trust anyone until you REALLY know them. I learned to be more careful with the people I trust and the people I tell things too. So, now I don't easily trust people with my secrets.

Barn Party.

Last Saturday was the barn party. It was pretty fun. There was a lot of people there, including some academy kids from California who I'm not really sure who they were. I think most  people had fun. It was cool to just hang out with everyone. I got home pretty late, but I guess it was worth it:) I got a chance to talk to more people that I hadn't really talked to before and that was pretty cool.
